Vehicle Service
Information

-
You can have regular
servicing performed at our facility while your car is
still under warranty. We keep a complete history of
work done and can advise if there are any technical
service bulletins outstanding for your vehicle.
-
Our minimum standard
warranty is 20,000 km or one year unless otherwise
stated.
-
Aftermarket parts are often
better quality and usually come with a better warranty.
Dealer parts usually have a 1 year limited warranty.
Aftermarket parts may carry up to 5 years warranty.
-
Once a problem is
diagnosed, we will call you with the cost of repair and
answer any questions for you. We do not proceed with
any repairs unless authorized by our client.
-
You can always speak with
the team working on your car. They will be happy to
discuss your concerns or answer any questions you may
have.
-
We have most of the
technical equipment found at a dealer facility.
-
We can perform the same
scheduled maintenance that the dealer recommends. We
can provide you with a printout telling you what should
be inspected and replaced at specific mileages. The
more you maintain your vehicle the better the vehicle
will run and the less problems you will have down the
road. Ask us about setting up a scheduled maintenance
program for your vehicle.
-
Keeping your tire pressures
at the recommended pressure will make them last 10,000
to 20,000 km longer.
-
Tires should be rotated
every 10,000 km.
-
We recommend that oil
should be changed every 5,000 kilometers when using
conventional motor oil or up to 8500 kilometers when
using synthetic motor oil.
-
We
have a courtesy car available which may be requested
depending on work required, ask for details.
Frequently Asked
Questions

What kind of information
does a technician need to diagnose a problem with my
vehicle?
When you bring your vehicle in,
try to explain the problem(s) as fully as you can. For
example, if your car is making a noise, pay attention to
when you hear the noise. Is the noise present all the time
or does it only occur when you turn the wheel or use the
brakes? Some problems only occur when the engine is hot,
cold or when traveling at certain speeds. Providing as much
information as possible to the technician will save time and
money.
How often should I have a
wheel alignment performed?
Calgary's assortment of curbs
and potholes can alter your vehicle's alignment causing
premature tire wear and/or steering issues. We
recommend that your vehicle's alignment be checked twice per
year. Alignments should be performed whenever tires
have been replaced or any steering or suspension components
replaced. Checking alignment protects your investment
in your newly serviced vehicle.
How often should I have my
vehicle serviced?
Oil changes are recommended
every 5,000 kilometers when using conventional motor oil or
up to 8500 kilometers when using synthetic motor oil.
We check the manufacturer's recommendations for specific
service items based on vehicle mileage. We also check
all fluid levels and conditions with each maintenance check
and advise the client accordingly.
I am considering buying a
vehicle, how can I be sure it's in good condition?
We offer a safety inspection
service (which most insurance companies in Alberta require
prior to insuring vehicles 10 years or older). Let us do a
thorough inspection of the vehicle before you buy it. We
can save you hundreds, and possibly thousands of dollars in
repairs. We want to help you make the right decision when
buying a vehicle.
